Dreamcrest riders performed well at the 2013 OHTA Championships at Cedar Run held on September14th -15th. In the Preliminary Division, Sophie Ochocinksi and her thoroughbred gelding Pog Mahome took the championship finishing in First Place on a score of 59.4. Facing Jay Hambly's tough championship course, the pair had one of the few double clear cross country runs of the Preliminary Division and a single rail in stadium. Jordan Thompson and Femme Fatale also finished in the ribbons, placing 8th in the Preliminary Division.
In the Open Training Division, Hannah Rankin and her lovely mare Flourescent Adolescent, took Second Place finishing on a score of 50.50. Hannah and "Lacey" were sitting in first on her dressage score of 38.5 going into the stadium ring and finished the weekend less than a point away from Waylon Roberts and Bill Owen who took First Place with a final score of 49.80. Also in the Open Training Division, Kelly had a busy weekend riding both Rasta and Pyrite, Ian rode Cnoc, and all three enjoyed double clear cross country rounds, finishing the championship in 10th,11th and 12th respectively. In the Junior Training Division, Autumn Smith and her new mare Mercury also completed the championship after a clear cross - country run.
Competing in her first OHTA Championship in the Junior Entry Division, Dreamcrest's Lauren Van Dorsser and Scarlett enjoyed clear jump rounds on the cross-country course and in the stadium ring to finish the weekend on a score of 74.10.
