Dreamcrest camps offer aspiring young riders a fun and educational environment to further their horsemanship knowledge and improve their riding skills.
Our day camps are offered during the winter and summer for girls and boys 8 years and older, taught by certified instructors and Level II coach Marianne Loughlin. Campers learn on our carefully selected school horses or can bring their own horse or pony.
Campers learn about horse care and management through daily in-barn lectures and horsemanship lessons, enjoy a morning riding lesson and afternoon hack, horse game or activity, and participate in supervised swimming, crafts or other activities.
Each summer, Dreamcrest also holds Competition Camp for teens and ‛big kids’ to learn how to prepare for eventing competition. In addition to daily lectures on topics such as how to ride a dressage test, rules, membership requirements and etiquette, riders ride twice daily and on the last day of camp, compete in a short course event.
